Engines are rev’d while we’ve been clambering around all the things being pushed around at KURB HQ. Dare to blink as we churn out update after update set out throughout the month! Read ahead to get the gist of what we’ve been up to.

We had the pleasure of interviewing source.ph earlier in the month. He gave us the inside scoop of thrifting culture in the Philippines and his plan to go international with his brand. Their Instagram is constantly cooking on exciting ways to contextualise some of the most coveted items from your favourite brands!

The highly requested rework of the KURB search page filter functionality has arrived. Our frontend mastermind has skillfully reworked the filter dropdowns so they are more easily accessible. Alongside this we’ve made our searches even more precise by enabling diffusion brand searching on top of enabling you to filter out specific features so that you can really fine tune your doom scrolling experience. That’s all on top of us having improved the search speed and general appearance of the search page!

Despite already being the most comprehensive secondhand designer search engine we are on the cusp of hitting 500 vendors! This week we added: Poppy’s vintage, Second Wave Vintage, Mondo, Komehyo, Brandoff, Viven’s Vintage, hurr, triptrap, ADHOMINEM, Elements, and bought. We also added Vowels and Isabel Benenato to our almost 400 brand roster. We’re super excited to push over 500 vendors so please let us know of any you think would be a good fit for the platform and we’ll look into adding them asap.

Our communication channels have had a bit of a boost too! We expanded our channel foray to Pinterest just last week, give us a follow if you want to see how we progressively enrich the community. Check out our Linktree to stay ahead of the designer resale game through what we sprinkle across our channels. Given the pace we’re growing we decide to also include weekly tech updates on our Instagram, and why not also throw in weekly stats so you can keep up to date with movements within the ecosystem.

Feel like we warped through time to reach the half-year mark, though it’s only been a few months of KURB. But the best is yet to come, keep an eye on our channels as we release our biggest update yet! Not to spoil the surprise but we’re itching to offer you something that will really put you ahead of the entire secondhand designer game.
