Vintage Giorgio Armani Cotton Silk Dress Black S

Vintage Giorgio Armani Cotton Silk Dress Black S

Matte black cotton-silk panels trace a compact sleeveless silhouette, cut with a subtle curve at the waist and finished with dark grey accent piping along the edges. A concealed side zipper in matching black maintains the line, while the neckline and armholes are cleanly bound—no visible logo or hardware interrupts the surface. The proportions are Giorgio Armani’s: sharp at the shoulder, measured through the body, falling to just above the knee. Label evidence places this as a likely 2000s piece, a period when Armani was refining day dresses for clarity and unfussiness, focusing on technical fabrics and precision tailoring rather than overt branding. The absence of external identifiers keeps the attention on form and finish—a house approach that reads as quietly assertive. The exterior is a blend of 72% cotton and 28% silk, lined in dark acetate for structure. Interior details include one zipped and one slip pocket, discreetly integrated along the side seam. Size 36 IT (S); the fit is tailored without stretch. The mannequin normally wears a size M.
