Vintage Loewe Suede Leather Loafers Black EU37.5
Black suede panels form the body of these classic loafers, interrupted by smooth black leather detailing at the apron and heel. The upper is constructed with a subtle interplay of textures, finished with discreet silver-tone hardware at the side — a restrained note in keeping with Loewe’s enduring commitment to material craft over overt branding. The silhouette is low and gently rounded, with a slightly elongated toe box and tonal black stitching throughout. The interior is lined in supple black leather, with a single compartment footbed and no visible logo or serial number. Outsoles show wear consistent with moderate use, and there is light scuffing to the leather detailing at the apron and heel, but the structure remains intact and the suede retains its depth of colour. No accessories are included. This pair likely dates to the early 2000s or later, reflecting Loewe’s approach to understated luxury footwear — minimal external branding, quietly refined construction, and a focus on tactile materials. Founded in Madrid in 1846, Loewe has long prioritised leatherwork and subtle silhouette shifts, evident in the balance of suede and leather on this model.
