Vintage Vivienne Westwood Check Coated Canvas Wallet Pink Cream
DESCRIPTION
Vintage Vivienne Westwood Check Coated Canvas Wallet Pink Cream
A bold silver-tone clasp crowns this long wallet, set against a vivid pink and cream checkered canvas that immediately draws the eye. The pattern is distinctly Westwood: subversive, playful, and unmistakably British, with each intersecting line a nod to the brand’s signature punk-inflected aesthetic. Contrasting cream leather trim frames the exterior and edges, while the interior unfolds in a structured layout designed for cards, notes, and coins. This model reflects Vivienne Westwood’s late-1990s to early-2000s focus on heritage motifs, repurposed with irreverent colour and modern materials—an era when the house reimagined classic forms through a distinctly rebellious lens. Since its founding in London in 1971, Vivienne Westwood has built its legend on the collision of tradition and provocation, fusing tartan, royal insignia, and punk hardware into artefacts of British counterculture. The silver-tone clasp closure is bright and functional, with all stitching and panels intact; only faint surface marks to the canvas and trim attest to gentle handling. No original box or accessories are present. Model: Check Pattern Long Wallet Era: Late 1990s–Early 2000s Condition: Very Good — minor surface marks to canvas and trim, clasp bright, structure firm Material: Pink and cream coated canvas with cream leather trim Colour: Pink and cream check patterned coated canvas with cream leather trim, silver-tone clasp closure, pink textile interior Dimensions: W 19 × H 10 cm Made in: United Kingdom
